I use both Conti Gatorskins and Specialized Armadillo tyres, both are excellent for puncture resistance and good for 7000+ miles.
@inuke what bike is it?

I'd call that a downhill only bike.
58-25 is the easiest gear, so nothing too steep please. Although I’d rather be tackling a slight upwards gradient than downwards as it’s easier to get the power out.

Looks like a Triban 540. Ive the base 500 for commuting, with microshift. A good tailwind on the pan cake flat busway, it can average over 20mph but that's not norm and I couldn't ever seeing it reach 68mph :rolleyes:

Yes, P5. Upgraded to Fibre Lyte single front ring, Dura Ace Di2, Ceramic Speed OSPW, Ceramic Speed BB,Zipp 808 and Super 9 disc.

I drew the line at Ceramic speed wheel bearings as they were going to be around £700 :eek:

Ive got a 56t fibre lyte chainring on my Exocet 3. I was given an Ultegra Di2 derailleur, I had all the other bits bar a battery. I fabricated a chain catcher similar to Fibrelyte from Carbon and aluminium

Do I win?

Most likely!:okay: Unless you're all show, no go? Im the former.:laugh:

My goals for the year are a sub 19 min 10 and a sub 48min 25. Whether I can find a course that is downhill both ways with a tail wind may directly affect my chance or achieving this :laugh:

I think I was lucky last year in that all the fast courses I entered all had fast days. The only annoyance was puncturing on the way to the start of a 30 miler. It was won with a 53:44 (mental time), so I think I would have gone under the hour by a couple of minutes.

I mainly race in the East region (B) and venture to the E2/10 /25 / 30 (although that is the only London East I have ridden)

@CXRAndy @Cuchilo where do you gents race?
