Says the man who's given multiple answersYou multiply before you add. That's the convention.
Of course the problem's crap. It's designed to be crap. Let me see if I can find that other even crapper one...edit. OK winjim is right.
But the problem is crap.
If I was dealing with mathematical representation, it would be clear.
If I was dealing with actual Macca's products, it would be clear. You wouldn't mistake 2 packets of fries for one
Show the actual thing you are measuring, or represent it accurately.

It seems that is not the case. Show picture of 2 then show a pic of one, and people think it's the same. Strange. You wouldn't mistake 2 packets of fries for one
You do know it's just a bit of time-wasting fun and not an early example of string theory?edit. OK winjim is right.

Please see my previous reply...Why not use brackets to make things clear? Try picking apart a Basic programme written in the early 1980's and you might see the obvious benefits. Maths isn't just for kids to follow stupid rules to satisfy OFSTED.
Have fun searching the internet for that one!You what????
Mock Chop supper? I never advanced to that level in my Maths class. Please see my previous reply...
Just to clarify tho, I got it right. Please see my previous reply...
