Although it doesn`t have a sign post, there is an Upper Twatt, I kid you not. I looked it up on our digital mapping service when I was bored at work one day lol

I came across a road closure on a forum ride with @potsy and miscellaneous others. Obviously a few minor potholes were not enough to stop us...

It’s a difficult one, if someone walked past that sign and put in a claim
for whatever, they would have a good chance, cyclist no chance.

Vehicle access including bikes, being stopped is normal. I'm wondering if @Sunny Portrush will push his bike along there. Just to find out why it's closed.

Time for a drone flight, had to laugh the other day, a young fellow
out looking for a cow with a drone, he found the cow at the same his drone
took a nose dive to the ground with a flat battery, just missed the lake.

There is an Upperthong just outside Holmfirth, Yorkshire. It's home to the World Welly Wanging Championships.

Indeed - I think it was the year before my attempt to turn myself into a 6' 1" human black pudding (i.e. 2011)!

I'm not sure what we did to put him off...

Obviously the bit about including cyclists is not meant to be taken seriously, all this does is make me more curious, where is it, I see your location is Musselburgh, could be a tempting route for a bike ride tomorrow if the road is still closed.

I had just come out from Garvald and was heading westish towards Gifford on the B6370. I then had to turn down the C class road towards Haddinton. There were signs just by the Lantern Rouge in Gifford saying access on to a farm but I didnt stop to read it properly. I expect pics lol

Thanks, I often ride along that bit of the B6370, will have a look this weekend, weather and hangover permitting.
