The frame its self is in need of a strip down & repaint but that's it as I deliberately dropped the bike on the non-drive side. Big holes in the side panner so I need a new set of them. Shattered seat edge up to the stiffening ridge but while it's repairable it's not worth it. It'll be lighter & stronger to make a new one, probably cheaper & quicker as well. Finally the forks have been badly dented so I'll be replacing them, I'll see about using the dropout & crown to make a set of carbon forks my self.

Get well..
Bikes can be replaced, we can't..

Yep. Pretty bad. We've still got power and are fine. But Toronto has had a major, major ice storm. And, in my Province, there's been 26+ hours of freezing rain across the entire Province..
That's somethng we're lucky with; freezing rain is a bit of a rarity over here. Causes a lot of bother when it does come though.

In a genius move I binned the bike & almost made it through under the trunk but my foot caught a fairly major branch & spun me round into another one. Result it 3 broken toes & a cracked rib. Managed to ride home very slowly.
Ooooofff

And I already know about the bike, or I would have asked first....I'm not totally insensitive......

The Costa Clyde rain magnet.
Contrary to the forecast, it is still blowing a gale here! That's almost 24 hours non stop, unusual even for here. I really wish it would GTF now...
