Veggie tartiflette, used cheddar which whilst tasty didn’t produce the right melted crispy texture, will defo make again with a more suitable cheese.

I have just put a slow cooker chicken casserole on the go. Potatoes, carrot, celery, leek plus the chicken and whatever spices jumped out.
It was going to be frozen in portions but the family have other ideas and I fear it will be gone by tonight.

Not "tonight" but around midday:
Goat's cheese, fig and orange blossom honey tart. Left over Lidl shortcrust, yellow stickered figs from Waitrose.

Nori wrapped sushi with cooked prawns and raw red pepper, chilling prior to cutting. Nori was use by 16/2/2024. Raw tuna Nigiri.
I doubt that Mrs Poacher would consider any of this, so she can have all of the Lidl "Salmon and Prawn Super Selection" I bought this morning.

Some left over bits and pieces of sushi rice, raw tuna and raw red pepper. Add plenty of soy sauce, pickled ginger and wasabi and they'll go down a treat; just hope they stay down!

Backup plan, a gradely pan of carrot and coriander soup.
