Word coming from L'Equipe that Seixas might be riding le tour this year rather than the Vuelta as apparently he wants a decent tilt at the Worlds.

Hopefully he hangs in and takes a stage (or the white jersey). Wouldn't wish a spell in yellow on him at this point in his career.

Wearing it on the final stage would probably be quite nice for him, though.

I think the Yates approach would be the most sensible route for him. Was it Adam in 2014 who did 10 days as a neo-pro?

Take all the pressure off him and at least give him the experience of going to the Tour, and the hooplah that surrounds it

Cav in 07 is another an example of a first timer struggling at the Tour only to come back and thrive
