My predictions were pretty close*. I thought Visma better thann UAE, Lidl-Trek to do some damage. I did think Ineos would take the stage, so they've swapped places with Ineos.

*Please don't expect this to happen again

Well, I knew my prediction was toast when INRNG mentioned that UAE showed up at the race track where everyone else was practicing without a booking. Apparently they tried to bully Total Energy into giving up their place and they rightly said 'non'. Maybe he's going to win by relying on panache this year.

Something for everyone there. Jonas gets yellow, Tadej gets the feeling that he can outclimb him head to head, and the rest know they're fighting for scraps.

There is also the most important competition of the year to settle as well, of course. But that b'stard @Lanterne Rogue has done a runner so I've had to start it here

There are going to be a lot of unhappy teams after yesterday as no one else other than Pogi and Jonas will see the yellow jersey.

Just a quick edit to help you there ;)

TBH, stage 3 might allow a break, it's not certain they'll want absolutely everything to be a GC stage finale already now (though I'm not saying they wont be fighting already)

Good to see that the UCI are being as vigilant as ever in the struggle for the soul of cycling.

I see some riders were sneakily trying to change their morphology by the use of ice socks that they pretended were for cooling. This skulduggery was soon stamped out and ice socks banned.

We can all sleep safer. God bless the UCI

Yet of all the things they ban, we still have to endure those ridiculous TT helmets.
