Plus there is more of a chance of rain, tomorrow.

I rode the stage a couple of weeks ago, and a couple of things surprised me:
1) The inclusion of Col du Page: this is a very small, unmaintained road off of the main Col d’Oderen. The descent was short to the main road, but I found it quite sketchy.
2) The Col du Haag is very inconsistent: Steep ramps and then recover. The top half is just a bike lane, but with a brand new surface (photo). The final ramp onto the Route de Crêtes is the toughest, but I suspect it will all be over by then.

Long shot ...hell finish top ten somewhere .... He won't be allowed in a break unchallenged. Remco may collapse and have a bad day ...but doesn't look.likf it tbh . I can see remco and pidders getting dropped and working in a chase group a bit behind

No. He was 6-7 mins behind them before yesterday for a reason
