Train Tickets from London to Thurso

I have had to change my plans for JOG to LE later this year. I intended to start at JOG on 17th September but have had to bring this forward by a week or so due to work commitments.

I therefore have some train tickets (along with bike reservation) for :-

London - Inverness leaving 21:15 on 16 Septemner , arriving 8:30 17 September. [recling seat]

Inverness - Thurso leaving 10:30 17 SEpt - arriving 14:30 17 Sept

I could put them on ebay but would rather they went to someone who could use them for the reason they were originally purchased.

Any offers?

Apparently train tickets cannot be sold on ebay.

Have you tried to get a refund on them? Usually you only loose £10.

yes that true, also of course it will release the Bike booking for someone else to use.

They were advanced cheap rate tickets so apparently there is no refund on them at all.

I have phoned now so at least the bike reservations will be released.

I have just struggled to get the Bike on the Euston/Inverness night sleeper, final had to settle for 7th Sept. Just hope the train is on time or early into Inverness as I have only 20 minutes to get round to the Bus Station to get he cycle bus to Durness, if I miss it then I can cycle to Dingwell and pick it up there next morning.

You would think with the high demand for cycle places during the spring/summer/autumn they would have improved the amount of spaces availble.
