Their strategy in the last 4 or 5 years has felt weird but the focus seems to have been on youngsters with potential. I don't really see where Godon fits in but then don't really know much about him. Maybe they looked at his Wiki page that appears to show he won all 3 GTs every year from 2019 to 2023.

But aren't Ineos just collecting Big Boys at this point? He's 1.89 m (6 ft 2 in). With Tarling, Ganna, Arensman, Øxenberg, Turner, De Plus, Swift and Shmidt all well over 6 foot.

Maybe they've hired the ex-Southampton scout that got them to sign Ali Dia.

26 August – Reutte, Austria: After more than a decade in the peloton, CERATIZIT Pro Cycling confirms it will cease operations at the end of the current season, with its final race taking place at the Maryland Classic in the US on 6th September 2025.

Apparently the managing director of Ceratizit the cutting tools company was browsing a cycle forum reading a thread on dodgy sponsors, and realised nobody knew what his company actually did, so he pulled out.
