That would be a good trick. Stick your hand in a bucket of sweets and end up impaled on a hedgehog.

We don't have any kids around here, and the houses wre so spread out anyway, no one would find their way round. I used to love halloween as a kid though.

I usually don't answer the door after dark on Halloween but the bell rang at 3pm this afternoon and there were two very small, very shy little witches, dressed up to the nines. I dashed down to the fridge and grabbed something to put in their stash bucket. The sight of their saucer-like eyes when they saw a couple of KitKats was priceless.

Son has been pestering us all day to the point of screaming his head off , did the houses in the street and they have enough sweets to keep them hyper for a week .

I hadn't realised how many kids were in our street until this evening! They're all off happy with tonnes of sweets. I offered one kid a sip of beer, but he didnae seem too keen and opted for a packet of Haribo instead.

I've spent the last 3 days making my oldest a Pacman costume out of cardboard and duct tape Halloween is great fun

Yes. I bought a small supply yesterday, not that I'm overfond of chocolate, but I wanted one for the ride to Brighton tomorrow and I knew the other four might come in handy tonight. Soft chocolate is horrible.

Don't mind kids coming round, we have a two year old who was a cat this year (and loved it)

We did have one wee fella who got a genuine laugh. His joke?
