An ouster is someone who ousts. ^_^

Well it should be, and that's why I hate it. It's a US English thing. It's a noun for the the process of removing someone from something. So "the ouster of Maduro left Venezuela without a president". The ouster isn't Trump or US marines, it's being used- near as dammit - as I would have used "ousting" (if I absolutely had to)

That is just crappy English and/or proof reading.

You are incorrect to describe it as mispronunciation. crappy English and/or proof reading

It is the normal and correct pronunciation in the US.

Just because it is different to ours doesn't make it incorrect.

I may have taken some liberties with an earlier post of yours, but it is, unfortunately, standard in US English, and all over the place at the moment.
