Earl Spencer saying he misses his sister Diana every day. Yet at one point her called deceitful, manipulative and weak.

I could comment but it would probably be referred to "The Other Place"

The frequency of adverts on YouTube (via app on TV so no ad blocker).
I went Premium to cut them out.

It doesn't stop the 'And now, a word about our sponsors...' type which creators embed in their videos but at least they are easy to skip.

What is really bugging me at the moment is eBay bombarding me with messages about rowing machines. I bought one on eBay a few days ago but it appears that their software doesn't look at purchases made after searches!

Excess packaging.
I ordered a spare derailleur hangar from Decathlon for the new bike and went to pick it up from the local post office (cheaper postage than home delivery) this afternoon. A small piece of metal that would easily go in a small padded envelope I thought.

Yup - they just put things in what they have at the warehouse

and it they have run out of small bogs/boxes then they use a bigger one until someone else re-supplies them with smaller ones

I have been sent to Boot for "just a small bottle of stuff"
and come back with something 3 foot by 2 foot
containing a lot of brown paper - and a small bottle in the middle
good job I had not gone on my bike!

Cycling through London City to get to a place on time will always ensure that the many, many, MANY traffic lights you encounter, will be red. These red lights take up almost half the time of your journey.

I have never cycled through London

but it applies to most towns of any size and is why a bike is faster than a car in many places
and NO - not because you can go through red lights - I hate that because it just "confirms" the opinion of the anti-cycling clique

but simply because you can slip up the side of the queues and the "cycles only" box at the front help a lot

When you're on hold and the music periodically stops for a message to say "your call is important to us please continue to hold". And the pause between the music and the message is just long enough to give you that little bit of false hope that a human is there.

And then there are the systems that have two messages in different voices that operate in different times, so occasionally one finishes and then about three seconds later the other begins, so you think that's a real person.

On some sites, like Amazon, they have a bit at the bottom that says 'people that bought this also bought....and then lists several alternative versions of the thing you've just bought!!! Nobody bought several versions of the same thing.
