When news articles say something like:
"The car drove into a pedestrian. "

Just sounds silly to me, it should be "the driver drove their car into a pedestrian."

For example, if we substitute "car" for other transport forms, the silliness is more obvious:
"The skateboard ploughed into the pedestrian"
Or
"The roller skates went into the pedestrian"
Just sounds odd.

The way to get rid of the car accident people is just to go along discussing it for a while, then say `what so they will pay out twice' and then after they have given you a confused answer just explain you won your case over a year ago. They soon stop bothering you then, and its fun.

Oh I don't engage with them, it's just that they phone me from multiple numbers. I then block the number but there will be another call at some point. However, I am down to 1 per week and so far this week, nothing.
The fact that there must have been some sort of data breach somewhere is the annoying bit.
Stupid internal cable routing that makes swapping cables and outers as difficult as possible.

I told you there is a way 🙄

Since when did Strava change from overall and women top 10s to women's and men's top 10s in the activity summary?

Noticed this change, at least to my understanding, due to the shock at how sparsely populated some local ebike segments are.

There’s KOMs for e-bikes? Why? To measure how light the rider and bike is? To admit de-restricting the bike? Strange.

It is a VOIP call from a computer, they can make it appear from any number they like. Your number has made it onto a list that scammers trade amongst each other and it's not helped by the sad fact that a lot of companies have 'outsourced' their call centres to India or eastern European countries.

I now have Nord VPN (for other well known purposes) on my phone and no more calls.

Vernon Kaye on Radio 2. Although not sure I'd class his annoyance levels as trivial.
Wife and I rejoice when Gary Davies gets to stand in.
