General thing
but The Liverpool Echo has started making a lot of its articles "Premium"
basically everything worth reading, you now have to pay for
it's only £4.99 a month - but that is £60 a year and the Echo is just not worth that much

OK - they used to have adverts and I installed a d blocked to get rid of them
BUT - I did that because the ads made the website painfully slow - well beyond any other site I tried
I did send them an email pointing out that the ads slowed the whole thing down to a stupid level but it made no difference

but their current concept of making everything "Premium" if it is even slightly worth reading seems to be extracting the whatsit!

You normally get the first few lines for free. You then search for the names (etc) in Google News.

Why would sodium carbonate bubble?

Gives off CO2 when combined with an acid.

Prompts like this appearing on my ebay feed. Who would want to buy a used yoga band?
