I had a laugh today when a friend told me what she had done. I am sure that the other person involved was "annoyed beyond expectations", until my friend rectified the situation...
My pal bought a coffee to drink on her way to work. She'd had a few minutes to wait for her train and had got chatting to the guy who served her. The train was pulling in, so she picked up her phone from the cafe counter, and went and got on board.
Just before she reached her destination she flipped open the cover to her phone to make a call, and discovered to her horror...
... a photo of the coffee guy's partner staring back at her from the lockscreen of the phone, which she had accidentally 'stolen'!!! Apparently, her identical-looking phone was in her other pocket!
My friend had to phone her supervisor to tell her what had happened, then catch another train back to return coffee guy's phone, and then catch a 3rd train back to work.
Coffee guy had been keeping his fingers crossed that his phone would reappear at some point and was very happy when it did!
Your pal might end up getting to know the coffee guy?!;🤣🥰🤣
