I bought this for my late night meal. I haven't had scampi for ooh, must be 40 years when it was popular in the 1980's, when served in a basket. Sadly I haven't got a basket, but I'm sure it'll taste the same served on a plate.

I'll have it with this below. Mmm, sounds quite nice I'd say!

New boots day.

Pleasing in itself, but also pleasing that:
1: The old boots are about two years old and have just worn out after being used most days for 8h a day.
2: The old boots were paid for by my previous employer who kicked up a fuss because they wanted me to wear the "standard" boots which looked like sneakers and offered no ankle support. I won that argument when I pointed out that these boots were a higher rating and cheaper.
The icing on the cake:
3: I started wearing these while working for my current employer, so the awkward manager at my last job basically funded them for me to use here, which serves him right.

When im walking along the local beach and i see someone picking up litter/discarded fishing gear ive cleared a ton of ***te this year and its good to know im not alone, theres an old dear in her 80's who regularly litter picks
