I just received an appointment from my local surgery :okay:
The portal doesn’t apply to NHS Highland.

Meanwhile, back in England, logged onto NHS, as I'm over 50, just keyed in my details and was given a date that's 6 months from my second jab. No health issues.

Sorry it's messed up in Scotlandshire.

Not messed up in my experience.
I got phone calls to go to my local surgery about a week in advance. No problems and I have had 3 jabs.
My son and daughter in law have both had their 3rd jab and they fall into the 50 to 60 age group. No problems.

The rest of the residents of Ayrshire and Arran health board catchment area, and Lothian too, it would seem.
So the problems appear to be local and not Scotland wide.

... and it gets even more complicated.

A letter today from GP, saying that while they won't be doing covid boosters, and I should book that via the website (already done, booked both covid and flu for mid dec) the GPs will now be doing flu jags for those in the "vulnerable" category - so I've got an appointment for that (but not covid) on Saturday!
