England : Essex Trying to join Essex roads cycling club

Is anybody in or around colchester? I live in colchester and looking for some rides. Would like to join a club maybe in the area to get me motivated. I done tour de tendring last weekend and loved it.

Anyone know of if there are any cycling clubs in Thurrock (Ockendon nr Lakeside specifically)?
Nearest I can find are Gateway or Havering.

There are several clubs in Colchester, it depends on what speeds you are looking to do...
Colchester rovers group rides average 16-17mph, vcr average 18+, interbike are a racing club so the speeds vary
