Tubeless tyre sizing vs clincher and tubes?

I'm about to click 'order' on a new pair of tubeless rims and tyres. The bit I can't be sure about is that my current clincher and tube set up has a 25mm Continental GP on them and there's a bit of space around the wheels in all dimensions so could possibly go up to 28mm. I'm wondering if the concept of 'running lower pressures' would mean actually sticking with 25MM TL would be better as they may actually end up sitting more like a 28mm once on?

Yes with tubeless you can run lower pressures as there is no danger of pinch flats . So if your changing to 28mms for comfort you may not need to and also the 25mm tubeless at a lower pressure in theory will have more grip due to a larger contact point so also negates the need to up tyre size but tyre choice is a very personal thing . For what it's worth I run 25mm and have not thought about upping the size
