In all aspects I am OK as it is my company so I can install what I want!

I had the shower room built a few years ago to bike into work, then didn't! So only started using it three weeks ago.

No one will steal my clothes either ^_^

You need one of these http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=pi...0wXm1YDQCw&sqi=2&ved=0CB4QsAQ&biw=800&bih=485. It's no good trying to dry something without getting the excess water out first!!^_^

Years ago i worked at an old folks home. I made full use of their washing and drying facilities. Happy days indeed when i was safe in the knowledge that my cycling gear was always washed and dried ready for my journey home. Though on one or two occasions i had to reprimand some care assistant for trying to iron my lycra!!!:rolleyes:

I used to combine my work with exercise as well. There was one woman weighing i'd say about 20 stone who i'd push 2 miles uphill in a wheelchair every week to see her old house.:training::heat: The care workers had the cheek to call me lazy! stating that i was skiving out of "proper work", like sewing buttons on and making beds!!

Right, I have bought the heater which is now timed to come on at 06:00 so it will be warm when I get in the shower and off at 16:00 so my clothes and hopefully the towels will be dry.

The free standing clothes airer is too big and clumsy, so I will get one for the wall.

So what waterproof jacket do you wear Billy?

Mine was definitely not waterproof as advertised.

I have a few Chris. My best one is an Altura which is waterproof and breathable. Another is a generic one from a camping shop which is good for a heavy downpour but not very breathable. Also got a Sprayway which is good.

Hi Billy,

Thanks for your response.

There seems to be a number of Altura jackets on the Wiggle website. Do you know which one you have?

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/mens/altura/cycle/jackets/

I am wondering if mine is leaking and according to the spec it should be waterproof and breathable

http://www.wiggle.co.uk/dhb-minima-s-waterproof-jacket/

Then perhaps I should send it back and replace it with an Altura.

This seems like a good one:

I might have mentioned it before , but i have this one http://www.wiggle.co.uk/altura-night-vision-evo-waterproof-cycling-jacket/ and for me it's very good! I'd say that 95% of the water that hits you doesn't get through, and it isn't a boil in the bag one either. I paid 63 quid for it at a local bike shop so the nearly 90 quid is a bit steep but maybe they think they can charge that as they're so popular.;)

Hmm!

Wonder what you mean by that then.

Thanks for that, it appears to be the same one I highlighted to Billy above.
