Hi guys! I’ve put a video together from some of the phone footage, Bobs bike cam and my drone if anyone’s interested. You can enjoy everyone of the 21 hairpin bends in Alpe d’Huez in glorious HD.

What software do you guys use to edit the footage? Up until this point I’ve been sort of telling myself off for not using my GoPro more. But now I feel like I’ve dodged a bullet!

A while back Kip recommended one called Handbrake. I use it to cut down the files off of the Garmin Virb. Then I spend a lot of time on the BKOOL editor then submit it and wait for the email saying it’s not good enough.

I used Garmin Virb for uploading GoPro. You can merge the gpx file to show your stats as I did on ToC video

I use iMovies....which gives a nicely polished finished product....but it’s bloody time consuming...especially on an iPad mini.

That's why I edit on a fast i7 with a good graphics card ... I can offload the video rendering to the graphics card ... It takes a quarter of the time to render that way than on my i5

Unfortunately it's my Christmas present so I don't get to play when it arrives
