Could always paint them in pretty bright colours and stick them in the garden as an "ornament"

I'll measure, probably small, the lady that donated them is tiny, but then she is 102 (103 in May)

From the BB to the top of the seat post 21 of your imperial inches.

That's it settled then, I'm not throwing away my BSO Trax TFS.1. I'll keep it until I'm a hundred and two so some young whipper snapper can pick it up expecting it to be some hidden classic.

60 years for the punchline might be a while to wait, but comedy is all in the...timing!

Yeah, thought the gents one was a Hercules - it has the same lamp mount bracket as my Hercules Ranger. The ladies one I think, looking at the lamp bracket and chainring, is probably a Raleigh.

Both are worth cleaning up at least. Those bikes are built like the proverbial tanks, so they should be fine under all that rust. Hell, mine was a skip find and I rode it for two years without doing anything to it. OK, I was 13 at the time LOL...
