Tyre Pressure Gauges (not inflater's).

Hi to you all out there. Some time ago I bought - after a rather long period of searching - a small grey Pistol Type tyre pressure gauge which was double ended.
It has both Schrader and Presta valve openings, the tool is actually depicted as being for both cycle and car with nice little pictures on the body of the tool. It runs on 1x2032 Button Cell battery. It cost about £7.00 and is remarkably accurate.
It has no sharp egges and will fit into a rear cycle jersey pocket and be hardly noticeable it weighs a mere 39gms.

CORRECTION :---- I have just checked at Halfords and they are now £14.99.

FWIW I check my tyre pressures with my track pump before every ride.

If it goes soft and squidgy when I'm out I change the tube and pump it up to hard* with Co2.

If my tyres don't go soft and squidgy I keep riding until I get home.

I've never felt the need, or indeed had the need for a tyre pressure gauge on the road.

I'm glad you like yours though

*hard is a technical term that I simply don't have time to go into here and now ^_^

No need to carry one however small or lightweight it is. A good old traditional thumb press on the tyre is all you need.
