After a bare 1000 miles (if that) the rear Schwalbe Lugano 700x20c on my Tif is looking decidely fatigued. Can anyone recommend an alternative as this doesn't, to my mind anyway, seem to have lasted terribly well. From what I can gather, if I go up to a 23c I'll have a lot more choice? If I'm not asking the impossible, I want something fairly hard wearing but not to the detriment of grip in the wet. Cheers in advance

I'm a big fan of Michelin Pro Race 3 700x23mm (or whatever the current incarnation is called). They're not cheap by any means but I find they are reasonably long lasting while rolling very well, superb wet weather performance (important around here as I ride on wet or damp roads most of the year) and not particularly prone to punctures - which maybe due to keeping the pressure above 100psi at all times.
