We've all seen the typical blog - earnest cycle enthusiast regales us with takes of wonderful journeys, new bike acquisition, or tales of technical derring do, and sometimes all three.

I've been thinking of creating one myself, so I've been researching the different blogs put there. This has unearthed a few slightly unusual ones...

Any other suggestions for non-run-of-the-mill cycling blogs to check out?

Average Joe kind of irritates me with all the monetization, drawings, and other pop-ups going on, which is a shame, because some of the content, when it's not a top=ten pick of yet more gear, is quite good.

Pop ups and double scroll bars - Yeeuch! Is it still 1999?
