Was looking for something over the weekend and noticed pointless stuff in various cupboards. Some included

A breville (used once I think)
A chocolate fountain someone bought the mrs. (Never been used)
Egg slicer (no idea where that came from)
An electric knife (still in the box)
A shoe horn
A pogo stick

I could go on and on to be honest

If you think its useless now, wait until it's been used once, not cleaned properly and then stuck in a cupboard. ;)

All very useful in my book, but as you say Greedo, we all have things that are useless to us or our families!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We have a Champion Juicer that cost hundreds, just sits on a shelf.

My wife has a pile of framed pictures at the side of our wardrobe that she won't put up or throw out. I am going to accident them...

Oh, that could be so full of innuendo, if the rest of the world had a mind like mine ;)

Well I thought the same but decided to see what the reaction would be...

We also have
2 brevilles ( 1 used twice/1 unused)
George Foreman grill ( used 3 times)
Chocolate fountain (used twice)
juicer (used 4 times)
Pasta maker (unused)
kenwood mixer (unused)
some of them were presents but most of them seamed a good idea at the time

I like the George Foreman grills (or the George Formby grill as we call it, for reasons I can't remember)

I do however have:

A smoothie maker
A foot spa
A "cappuchino" maker
Some 'trendy' champagne flutes with no stems

My two sons. But I have to give them the benefit of the doubt being 5 and 8.

Other than that, the entire content of our loft (which is massive) as my wife was a bag lady in another life and keeps everything. I'll die one day when the whole lot caves in.

I can concur with that, spent a while this weekend moving things around in the loft, the amount of stuff that we have that will never be used or even looked at again beggars belief.

Regarding the chocolate fountain thing......must have passed me by, but not sure what one is, any explanations, just so I don't accidentally buy one as they seem universally useless. xx(
