Well, hello Brighton! Topcat and I have just polished off some chips at the Madeira. Good ride, fast for me (probably not for others) and I made it over the south downs without walking for the first time!

Bike needs a clean though.

Adrian, we're heading to the station now before the cold freezes our joints, thanks again for leading.

The nice people at Cadence thought i was a customer and offered me some dry relief from the rain 7am sunday morn, i had to refuse coz the lorries were begining the run down to Brighton.

Adrian then Chris arrived and we waited for news of any others then we were off to meet another Chris
at thornton heath pond

It seemed like there wasn't many lorries keeping us company which was probably due to the rain but we were playing tag with a few of them.

5degrees but a nice tail wind all the way made for a chilly but comfortable ride down and once again
excellent sharing on the road.

Thanks Adrian and Chris's and Cadence for the free coffee

Great stuff! Loadsa cool photos there, TC.

Looking forward to next year, which I should like to be drier. I roe my vintage bike home from London in the wet today, and it was interesting.

Is weird, I never felt particularly wet at all on the ride. My toes were a bit soggy when I got home though.

Some things that happened:
Idiot crashing a red at the bottom of spa hill who got 3 lots of invective, still oblivious.

The a23 out o London isn't the prettiest, but crikey it's the quickest.

5 degrees. 5 FREAKING DEGREES on cinco di mayo!

Lovely lovely swoopy roads and villages after crawley.

I suffered on Clayton hill, but I did not walk. We're getting there...

Lovely photos TC

Oh, and those chips, fantastic.
