Update:
After a factoty reset, re-downloading the Element App and logging out and into everything (plus RWGPS) and that not appearing to work, I was about to mail Wahoo Help desk.

One last fiddle saw me update the Wahoo via itself on Short Power press/Settings/System Info/Check for updates and apply them rather than my usual acceptance of updates when I fire up the Wahoo.

Happily, that seems to have sorted out the issue!

To save starting a new thread, RWGPS isn't syncing newly created routes with my Elemnt again.

This time, though, it looks like this option isn't available with the free account, only the paid for version. Oh well...
It was good while it lasted!

Have you checked in the wahoo app that rwgps is linked to your unit . I think after Strava privacy updates I had to relink some apps

Yep, I've done all the usual things, thanks.. Reading the RWGPS support page it says it's a paid account option only.
Maybe I can export the route .fit or summat and import it. Seems like a phaff, though!

@PeteXXX ,I've just made a route on rwgps saved it and then synced my wahoo unit and the route has downloaded. I don't have a paid rwgps account ? . My unit is a bolt v2

@PeteXXX if this continues to be an issue there is a workaround you could try. A PIA but a solution.
  • Email the route to yourself. I presume you have email on your phone?
  • Open the Wahoo app
  • Choose "View Routes"
  • Click the + sign with blue background
  • Choose "Import file"
  • Follow the onscreen instructions
  • The route will appear in the app in the routes section

Thanks for that.. I've imported routes by other means (not your way, though) before but the automatic RWGPS was obviously the easiest way.
I'll give it a go, ta 👍

I have a paid account - useful for designing routes - it doesn't cost much and if use use a product, we should pay for it.
