Bizarrely I'm with Linford on this one, does it say somewhere that he did hand himself in, I've not read that, either way he should NOT have left the scene.

What is so bizzare about agreeing with my POV on this..anyone with an ounce of decency would have stayed there to face the music.

The only good excuse for leaving the scene I can think of, is that the cyclist hit his head in the collision and wasn't thinking straight.

He's pleaded guilty to a sect 20 unlawful wounding - no intent.

Maximum sentence six months in magistrates, or five years if dealt with in the crown court which this one is.

One could speculate, so I will - the judge will see it as two years after a trial, so with credit for guilty plea the guy will get 18 months.
