Probably a silly question, but I was wondering if its okay to washing machine bike gloves. In the past ive used disposable Lidls gloves, but my Altura fingerless gloves have that damp flannel smell. Theres no washing instructions or warnings not to on the labels.

Also, Ive just seen Assos sell £50 fingerless gloves, will these make me go faster? ;)

always wash my Altura fingerless gloves with the normal washing. No worries there.

I normally just wash mine. By putting them on and washing my hands in liquid hand soap or shower gel them macking sure I give them a good rinse....

Washing cycle, gloves? I go for the 'colourfast synthetics' programme, 30C and 800rpm spin.

Washing cycle, sheets? I prefer to put them in a little hotter, maybe 50C. I still spin them at 800rpm.

I hope this is helpful.

The older I get, the faster I used to be ...
Beware of any Velcro messing up other kit. Close fastenings. Best to wash them in a washing bag/net

Washed mine loads of times - in fact I must throw them in the machine now (thx 4 reminding me...) - there's a washing machine window tonight courtesy of SWMBO so I can wash my cycling kit. Do up the Velcro and 30C economy wash.

Just stuck in my shorts, jersey and gloves in the one wash @1200rpm. I've noticed that the letters have faded on my fingerless gloves, doesn't matter to me though
