Regulars here will know I'm not a big footie fan, but I still have a soft spot for my home team where my dad took me to see them play as lad in the violence scarred days of the 70's. Whenever asked who I 'support' my answer is always Exeter City, despite the giggles. Well from the nutty Michael jackson days, they and their supporters have dragged themselves against the odds out of the mire. I hope it will provide inspiration for other teams fallen on hard times. I hope next season goes well for them, they deserve it.

C'MON YOU GRECIANS! ;)

Glad to hear of such news in the world of multi-billion dollar deals and foreign (as opposed to home-grown) players.

My mum lives in Exeter; it's a pleasant city (met Chuffy and baggy there for a beer).

Spent 90 mins on a Boxing day at St. James' park once; an enjoyable experience, in a different way than spending 90 minutes at White Hart Lane was.

It's a pity they didn't win sommat or get a big promotion in 2000. Then it truly would have been the year of the Grecian 2000.
