Well how did you celebrate this Jubilee lark?

On Sunday it lashed it down all day here in Leeds,today i have been gardening.Not done a thing Queenie wise totally underwhelmed by it all.

Yesterday didn't do anything but enjoy the peace and quiet with everyone else being off by the river. Today cleaned Lelly and sorted the rear wheel. Tomorrow more resting and enjoying the peace and quiet is called for I think as everyone else goes off into town.

Yesterday, I watched the pageant on the telly. Not because I'm a raving monarchist you understand, but because I knew some of the people rowing in it...... although I never spotted them. What makes it worse is that it was a crew I'd rowed and raced with, so had I still been there, then I might have been for a row on the Thames yesterday....

Today, we have been tidying the house quite insanely because a guy is coming to value it on Wednesday (oh joy!).

Not done anything for it but quite enjoying some of the music on at the moment.
One thing I have liked is that it's just a party, a celebration. No one telling me to hand over my credit card details every 5 minutes and text some phone number and no jubilee related bloody advertising (well, not much)

I spent yesterday glued to the sofa drinking gin and watching the wash out that was the floatilla river thing. It's a shame that the weather was so horrid as the river is beautiful when the sun is out and it's all twinkly. I've been watching the concert tonight and bitching about it all over Twitter.

Had I not visited the parents yesterday I would have been unaware of it other than seeing some flags while out on the bike. Had to sit through the river thing, didn't even know it was happening until they switched it on.

I was too busy cleaning out my sock drawer to notice anything? When I saw the few Union Jacks I did see, I figured the Argies must have invaded again?

We, rather uncharacteristically, watched the concert earlier, and also the boats on Saturday.

All I can say is that Her Maj looked thoroughly miserable at both events and it is hardly surprising Phill now has a bladder infection.
