Mine were a bit like MattB's. I can't remember the details, but they would have included the classic pic of astronauts on the Moon and various fighter aircraft (ancient and modern). And airfix aeroplanes hanging from the ceiling...

Ah yes airfix models...had a few of those too!

My mate had about twenty planes hanging from his ceiling and his entire bedroom floor was an awesome airfield with about 100 odd matchbox planes of varying types...had old tea bags for sand bags and everything! Was epic!

Che, lots of posters & pictures of aircraft, and press photos of revolutionaries. There was a cracking shot of Sandinistas I got from the Telegraph, but I've not seen since. I'd still love to have that properly printed.

When I left home, I decorated my walls and ceiling with kites - mostly Chinese.

It varied according to my age. However I seem to recall I had a few Star Trek posters as well as the likes of Gabriel Byrne and Bill Pullman.
Not very inspiring. Some truly cringeworthy Pre-Raphaelite things and that one that everyone seemed to have of Dali's Christ Of St John on the Cross from Athena.
I saw that painting a couple of months ago in Glagow ...... very spooky.

I can only remember having a poster from the imperial war museum that showed me how to identify silhouettes of german enemy aircraft.

My bedroom walls were completely papered in pictures of horsies until I was about 16, I think. Then my parents had my bedroom replastered, redecorated and said "no more bluetack!" They bought me some nice, limited edition prints of horses to replace my pictures, but it wasn't the same.
