Ford Focus ST.
Absolutely love it. Bought it from new 7 years ago. Only done 36K as I cycle to work, obviously, and it spends all week in the garage and comes out at the weekend and that's about it !

A friend of mine had a focus ST170 about the same time you got yours. An excellent vehicle in that particular vintage. I much prefer that shape to the newer ones. He had it for a couple of years and being a fast ford man swapped to a mondeo st220 but still hankered after the focus

If you leave it anywhere with the top down like that make sure you keep your scissors locked in the boot, you don't want them getting nicked!

You are a Hairdresser aren't you?

Now now. EVERYONE knows that hairdressers drive little 3 door, ragtop 4 x 4s and not Minis.
I had a mini, a 54 reg Cooper, called 'Red' and I loved him. Traded him in for a stupid Cooper Clubman, which was a pile of poo and spent more time being fixed than on the road.

Went and bought a new (to us) second hand car for husband yesterday. We had a tiny budget but need a second car by Monday morning latest, we can fudge all the appointments on this coming Thursday. We found a teeny tiny Daewoo Matiz in a bright green colour. It buzzes along with its 3 cylinder 798cc engine and is very economical, it is taxed and has a year's MOT as well.

Husband has called the car "Sprout".

We had a red micra called ladybug purchased in similar circumstances to your matiz, it was probably the best car we've had so far

The only problem is its the Blue one not the orange, when I went to look he only had orange in 3 door, but blue in 5 door, and after 10 years of a Ford Puma I really wanted 5 doors.
I only wanted it after seeing it on Top gear. Crazy

May have answered before with a Focus...but now happily back to Vauxhalls with a 2010 Astra 1.6 SRI 3 door.
I always liked the back end on that car, always...now i have one

Vauxhall Astra, not much to get excited about for most, but its all relative for a man who's tastes are relatively simple (and wallets tight ) Its plenty enough car for me, i like its styling, i like Vauxhalls driving style (lazy and easy going).
