It's the first diesel we've had, and a distinct step-up from the Hyundais we've had for the last three cars.
Averaged over 50 mph on a long trip with luggage, Christmas pressies and 1/4 tonne of wine on board
The first owner dropped £17 000 on it in four years and 40 000 miles

325 SE Tourer, LPG converted 'BMW' I know! But I have had it for 146,000 miles and still going strong! I like to call it a sports tourer, others may call it an estate! We also have a 1.6 SE VW Golf with 140,000 on the clock also! Not scared of the high milers! To be honest we managed on the LPG tourer and my stable of 4 bikes quiet well until our daughter turned 17 and hence golf was acquired! Worst thing is, when we only had one car it was so much easier to remain strong cycling every day! Even through I could always get a lift to work anyway!

outlash

also available in orange
For work it's a VW Caddy van but the family car is a Fiat Grande Punto sporting in red. Unlike Italian bikes (of which I would love to own), it's proving to be excellent value.
