What did you do Today?

We spent the morning trying to shove the new washing machine into it's slot in the kitchen, getting more and more frustrated at its lack of progress. Managed to slide it in eventually - entirely due to my wife's suggestion of using some lubrication. Bicycle grease is versatile stuff - it went in like a dream after that.

We decided to get as far away from the kitchen as possible this evening and we all went out for an upscale pizza which was a good idea. - and I don't think we were alone in thinking this as there were lots of families out tonight.

I feel better today - a bit more human after a horrible week.

I think I've managed to fix my boiler. No more leakage hopefully.

Went and gave moral support to my Boss and co-instructors who were taking part in a sponsored swim in aid of the Charity we all work for.

As the swim was being held at the Lido in Brixton and the pool had ice on it for the first time in 12 years, I'm very glad I volunteered to man the donation buckets and not go in the water.

Popped down to the station to see the first of two steam trains go through, then straight of to the farm to feed Red. Mucked out the stable then off to Letchworth to video the second loco. Back home for lunch then off to the farm again. Once horse was fed and tucked up in his stable it's back home and into the warmth.
