Just as hideous as I am now. I don't feel the need to post a pic to prove it (I'd destroy them all.....).
You appear to only have one chin there Mac,
Photo-shopped to within an inch of it's life was it?![]()

I used to frequent The Albany in about .... late seventies, and am trying to remember Clive Owen.
It's a spookily small world isn't it! We know, but most people here wouldn't, that you went to the same school as some of the girls I knew and at the same time, just across the park from my school!
Clive Owen went to drama school in 1984 aged 20, so it's probably just after your time, unless you were hanging about in that pub as long as I was! You certainly would have been in there at the same time as the Automatics/Specials.
Talking of small worlds - I was chatting to dave r on one of my Midland forum rides last year and we realised that he worked as temp in the same small factory as me for a short time. We would definitely have spoken to each other because we always used to say hello to the new faces. We can't remember each other from then though.
perhaps she cropped the photos?Great thread. There aren't many photos of me when I was young. Well, that's not strictly true, photography was never my mum's strong point so there are lots of photos of me with no head.
perhaps she cropped the photos?
It wasn't anything special, but a lot of my mates lived in Earlsdon and I didn't like my local pubs in Coundon.I lived just up the road from the Albany for about 10 years, from 1998, and never went in the place.
Yes - I reckon '83 or '84 because I went to university after that, and before that we'd been situated near you in Holbrooks but you worked with us in Kenilworth, IIRC.It was a long time ago, 1980's ?
