What else should fish 'n' chip shops sell?

Eat in licensed chippies are common enough in the North but I don't remember ever seeing a licensed take away up here. I don't think Shandy Bass counts either

When I was young there was a fish shop that had the whole range of Crusha milkshakes in optics behind the counter. You could have a milkshake with your fish and chips while your Mum and Dad had a cup of tea. Although nowadays I'd go for the cup of tea.

Now this really gets on my nerves, you go to a cafe or some eatery, ask for a cup/mug of tea, But instead of giving you the said cuppa, they give you a tea-bag in a cup.
Nope, that's NOT what I asked for !! And then they have the audacity to charge (usually) in excess of a quid for the half made brew !!

MAKE THE TEA IN A POT A TIP IT IN A CUP (add milk & sugar to taste) !!! Now that's not hard is it ?? !!

I can think of one in Pimlico and two in Dalston/Stamford Hill area.

Are they proper chip shops or Fish and Chip Rest's with a take away service though ?
