1996 post-er apocalyptic Kurt Russell vehicle reboot Escape from LA.

Generally just a bit crap - don't think it knew what it wanted to be but whatever it was, it wasn't very good at it.

I was hoping for something to facilitate zoning out for a couple of hours; instead its conspicuous crapness proved too engaging..

I was not expecting much and i was not disappointed, the concept was ok enough and the special effects were ok but it didnt really make me engage with the characters or plot .

Scurry (Paramount). What a waste of time. I thought it might be a good alien invasion/monster movie as Paramount usually only shows half decent stuff. But this was terrible. Basically the whole film is 2 people crawling through caves being chased by a alrge alien insect. I should have checked IMDB forst, it has a 3.7 rating

Finally got round to watching The Searchers. Justifiably regarded as a classic. Obviously a very old film and dated in some respects, but the central themes stand up and John Wayne's performance is fantastic. Also beautifully shot.

Lexx, 1996. Movie length pilot for the TV series. Dystopian with a capital ‘D’, it was a bit like Red Dwarf, but without the PG rating. Will watch the rest of the series.

Do you mean Lexx?

It's amazing, very dated graphics but the story is bonkers and if you watch the series afterwards it just goes more down the rabbit hole.

Ps The shower scene is easily a 15 lol

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
I think the title of the thread should be changed to something like "Tell us what you thought of the film that you watched last night" because just knowing that you watched it isn't very interesting!!

What do think, @Moderators?

I think that the requirement that you must have watched it specifically last night is too restrictive. What if you watched it yesterday afternoon? Or the night before last?

Like the rules of Gremlins? I mean what happens if they eat before midnight, but then cross a timezone? Or what if they get something stuck in their teeth and swallow it later, does that count?
