Saw them at the RAH last year, great band. Although the support of Arthur Brown was weird.

Bananarama at London Palladium on Saturday. No support for them, just an hour 45 minutes of great pop music

James Blunt at the Royal Albert Hall, Tuesday night.

It does seem a few people don't like him/say his music is miserable (something he makes light of himself) but honestly, he was absolutely staggeringly good. Even my good lady wife (who struggled to remember pretty much anything he'd sung) was blown away by the gig. Struck lucky with tickets (5 rows from the front) and we had not been to the RAH before, which actually made it better for us in a way, because it's such a stunning place.

Saw Underworld at ex-Granada Studios last Friday (now Aviva warehouse). Great gig, lots of old favourites from back-in-the-day, great sound and good visuals. And finished in time for last train home.

Former Lighthouse Family front man Tunde (Baiyewu) singing his own stuff and old LH numbers at Chester Cathedral, last night. Not been to a concert there before, it was a great gig for the music and the location, we'll be back there again at some point.

As a drunk teenager I and a couple of mates were chased around the grounds of the cathedral by several men of the cloth. All a bit Benny Hill. Sadly there were no scantily clad women!
