To replace the spare I had - which ended up replacing the worn one:

Found in the Yorkshire hills ...
A Hutchinson Fusion 5 tyre plus some Shimano jockey wheels, both for spares stock.

After the wear marker disappearing on one side of my spring/ autumn wheels (Hunt aerowide) I bought another set. I had been going to wait until autumn but the talk at the pub was a trip to the Belgian cobbles later in the year so rather than use my good summer wheels if that manifests I'll use them. They were 40% off and until tonight there's another 10% voucher code (SPRING10). The only drawback is Hunt have discontinued the Silver rims and I had to get Black ones.

Purchased a set of three keyed alike 'chain' u-padlocks - 16mm micro D-Locks in reality. I'd lost the padlock of the beefy 10kg chain, and my other chains, the locks are less good. We're off camping with bikes at the end of the week, so I ordered a set for just over £30 - sold secure Diamond. They'll be used to replace the existing 'chain' padlocks in the garage too - keyed alike saves a lot of faff.

Whilst searching for 'spare keys' for some Abus locks, I 'found' the beefy chain's padlock... doh... I didn't find the Abus keys - but I'll check tomorrow at work as I may have the spares there (I used to keep one of the locks as a spare at work to cover me and colleagues forgetting one).

Found the spare ABUS keys. They weren't in my drawer at work.

Unlocked the bike tonight, and the two spares were on my 'work bike key ring' - not spotted it this morning. Doh !!!!

A bit of proper indulgence - Kim Le Court is a fairly successful (I think it is fair to say) Mauritian road cyclist, and her team have just released the replica national champion's jersey that she wears.

I've just ordered a men's for me, and a women's one for my daughter as a surprise (Or perhaps a 13th birthday present), but getting them delivered to my parents in Spain to avoid additional fees and benefit from cheaper postage.

Castelli made, which is a positive for me, medium in men's was sold out, so have to squeeze myself into a small 🧐
I'm hoping the cut isn't real proper 'race' fit, and more like some of the other small Castelli jerseys I already own.
The price would lead me to think it is more likely to be a fans replica jersey cut than an out and out bit of race kit - but we'll see.
Otherwise, extra motivation to shrink my gut down.

It's already dispatched, but I won't lay hands on it until next month.

Not a bargain as such, but also not horrific, and worth the money for me for a relatable (to me and my daughter) bit of usable cycling kit - and a 10% discount as a new customer softened the blow a little bit.
