It's a Van Rysel EDF CF Ultra picked up on Decathlon's Second Life scheme (20% off new, very lightly used - all I can see is a minor scuff on the bar tape and where the brakes were bedded in) and my first experience of Di2 shifting. Today was the first test ride of three x 10 mile loops with minor changes to the bar rotation after the first and a swap of flappy paddle functions after the second. Still to decide on whether to keep the stock saddle or try to swap for my usual Charge Spoon, but that needs a non-stop 2+ hour ride.

Just ordered an MT200 front brake to match the rear on the Carrera, a sanding/polishing kit for the Boardman frame, a half decent toolbox because I'm sick of the stupid plastic thing that launches everything across the floor whenever I open it and a pair of riding gloves with some palm padding as my hands feel like I've been sat on them for a week after that ride yesterday!

A battered pair of M540 pedals for spares. The alloy lock bolt on my commuter MTB XT pedals had rounded (I've undone it with a special spanner). It's just bugging me as the pedals are used every day and get a service once a year. The M540's will donate the lock bolt and I'll assemble the 540's with the damaged one and keep as spares. I can find left hand lock bolts but not right hand. Daft thing is a new spare is much more expensive than some donor pedals at £13 delivered.
