Set the rear Deore SX derailleur limits on my recently acquired Ridgeback World Panorama, and indexed the gears.
As usual, it took twice as long as I thought it would.🤓

I took delivery of some Favero Assioma SPD power meter pedals today and then fitted them to my CAAD5.

I adjusted the release tensions to where I think they need to be (fairly high, but not so high that I fear being unable to unclip in an emergency). Some tweaking might be needed after a test ride though.

I downloaded the Favero app to set up the power meter pedal. (The left one, the right being a matching but 'dumb' pedal.) The app immediately informed me that a firmware update was needed so I did that.

I paired the pedal to my Elemnt Bolt ready for a test ride later in the week. I am doing a 100 km singlespeed ride tomorrow so power pedal testing will have to wait a day or two.

Having sold the Principia 700 earlier today I gave that a once-over before packing it. The bike's off to the north-east and I hope the new owner enjoys a lovely hand-made Danish bike.

In non-bike related fettling a solar lamp arrived this afternoon, with the plastic solar power attaching bracket broken. It's for my father's house as we are transforming an unused central courtyard into an 'alfresco dining area' before the house goes on the market. Last week an unused side garden became the 'morning coffee spot' and will have plants added in tomorrow's visit. The lamp's in old brass style and a new brass attachment was fashioned to make everything fit.

I picked up this Vintage rear rack, had it powdercoated and mounted to my Ruff Tango bike.

I did a 45 minute test ride this evening.

There was a mysterious delay before the first power readings were displayed. I am not sure what was going on there! My Elemnt Bolt showed that it had connected to the pedal's signal but it took about a minute to start working. After that it was fine.

The power numbers looked similar to what I usually see on the power meter on my other bike.

I will see if I get the delay on my next ride.

Mrs C's Raleigh Cameo had a couple of broken spokes on the rear wheel. Took it off, cleaned it up, removed the freewheel for cleaning and took the tyre/tube off. Then took it to the LBS for them to replace the spokes as I didn't have any, couldn't be arsed measuring and ordering some online and paying as much in postage as I would for the shop to fix.

Picked the wheel up this morning, tube and tyre back on, freewheel still needs cleaning (new ultrasonic cleaner arrives tomorrow) and then will put back on.
