of what,my trip,or of my handsome self,didn't do that rout,banton loch put me off course it was full of boozing teens so i only got 16 mile done,will do it next time, but go strait up tak me doon and miss out banton

I went over the Tak ma Doon with the full four pannier touring load on the bike once, bad move
.The name of the road sounded vaguely familiar but I had no recollection as to where I had heard it before. Just after turning off the main road I spoke to a woman who did suggest there was a bit of a hill between there and Carron Bridge, unfortunately I didn't take the hint.
