Yes. I have just changed jobs. 20 minute commute to about 90 minutes. When it's warmer, dryer and lighter, I'll cycle. But still be 75 minutes each way plus faff

Yeah I see, you save so much money by cycling and all my stress goes away. I'm thinking of getting another bike so I have 2 lol

Buy British ;)
Unless buying a car - then buy German.

Austin - Mini Metro - Metro - Montego & any other Austin or British Leyland car or van - all $H1TE !!

Older Fords (Fix.Or.Repair.Daily).

Bikes - yes - lots of top builders out there at the mo' I feel.

I am talking now not in the 70s ;)
We are still in the 70's 'up north' Vickster.

Don't knock it.

Best advice for anyone living in London Village (the 2nd most important City after the Capital - Manchester ) who endure scary commutes to work on shoddy bikes is

Sell your 1 bedroom hutch/maisonette & ropey old bike for about £400,000 & move north to a 5 bedroom mansion with double detached garage & live a stress free commuting life to work/home/play on a £3k superbike.

Unlike me who lives in a 2 up 2 down terrace with a shed & $H1TE roads to 'play out on'.

Unfortunately I need to work and in my line of work, employers are mostly down south. Also far too hilly up there!!
