  • Wind...the natural kind. (just don't ask me to ride in it), especially on a mountain top, where it screams and fills your ears
  • Crunching snow (its a cliche but I love the first step onto deep snow when i go skiing)
  • The little celebration tune my Garmin plays when I complete a ride and the the beep that it makes when i stop in the dark, alone and far from home...keeps me company.
  • Aston Martin Vantage at 8000 rpm
  • Spitfire Merlin engine over biggin hill on a Sunday when I ride by (that one was amazing!!)
  • Sails catching the wind for the first time
  • A toaster "popping up", always means something nice is about top happen
  • Buzz of high pressure tyres on smooooooth tarmac
  • The noise you hear when you are underwater
  • The echo of a long tunnel
  • Pearl and Dean music
  • The sea lapping on a beach
  • A storm in the distance
  • Thunder and lightning overhead
  • The way that a windless snow fall, deadens all the sound and creates a new variation on reality

Blimey I could keep going for ages.
