What stupid thing have you done today?

I got a lift home last night, and took my back wheel with me to fit a new tyre, leaving the bike at work.
I wanted to check the cassette lock nut was tight because it's been a bit noisy, so I took the QR skewer out and checked. It's fine. I then replaced the tyre. Lovely.

Brought the wheel in this morning to put back on the bike at work.

The QR level is at home, in the kitchen.

When tradespeople give you a slot, I often wonder if they only have you in it. I've had to wait in twice for British Gas recently, on an 8 - 1 slot, and both times they've come at about 12:30. This always seems to happen. I've never had an 8-1 slot (for example) for anything and had someone turn up at 8:05. So my theory is there is only one appointment, and they just sit around for most of the time, which is why when they do come it's £300 to fix a simple leak

Not today, but a few years ago, drove about 60 miles to the start of a 25. Unpacked my kit and realised I'd brought two left Cycling shoes!

At work yesterday, whilst climbing maintenance only access ladders (I was in a hurry) I banged my knee, nice lump and limp now. Cycling home was hard last night, got a lift to work today!

how about fitting the cycle rack to the car driving 25 miles to the mountain bike trail then realizing you forgot to put the bike on the rack, does that make me a first class twonk

Just had to sprint home at lunch after realising I'd locked the front door, then forgotten to take the key out of the lock

Thankfully everything is still there and I've retrieved the key
