Will be watching the All Creatures Great & Small special at 21:00

Tristans girlfriend is Emma (Nanny McPhee) Thompsons daughter

I'm not sure if I feel cheated that Siegfried didn't get together with Mrs Hall, & she seemed to look disappointed, in 'The Drovers', but the actress playing Dorothy is rather gorgeous

Hopefully shes not as insufferably self righteous as her mater.

Digby the Biggest Dog in the World, a Moore era Bond film, and a "network premier" film that was on Sky Movies 16 years ago?

Mayor of Kingstown also very good.

1883 is excellent. A slightly different approach for a Sheridan drama but compelling viewing all the same. Sam Elliott absolutely smashes it.

Tulsa King went a bit downhill in Season 3 IMHO.

Yep - we stopped watching it after a few episodes.

Billy-Bob Thornton absolutely makes Landman. The most cynical pragmatist there ever was, but you know he's always right.

Agreed. Though his misses does get to weigh in very occasionally with some pointers to put him straight - and he's decent enough to acknowledge his own grudges and shortcomings. Tbf, despite his jaundice, he is a pretty decent, and moral, character. A real 'rough diamond', as we're no doubt meant to believe him to be.

I reckon the script writers must have a whale of a time thinking of the lines for him. There are some gems - and Thornton delivers them so well, praps even makes them.

I'm rewatching The Man In The High Castle. I say rewatching but I dont think I ever watched series 3 and 4. Not quite sure how that happened but it's good catching up and reminding myself of what happened before embarking on the final leg.
