Merino is a better material, but the more costly one is for winter. The cheap one is a little wool, mostly polyester...more potential for pong than merino

One is full zip, one isn't, what do you prefer?

Yep some people can't wear wool. My brothers fiancée is allergic for example

Accy is looking at a winter jersey so presumably he will have a baselayer underneath
